Instead we went to
a few km south on the East Coast Road, a centre for performing arts, architecture and handicrafts....
The children did some workshops....

We also had lunch. Esther and I had the Thali (Unlimited Veg meals) for 100 Rs or around £1. That's expensive when you consider that a manual labourer could get 200 Rs a day or less.
